Just saw one of these Airstreams in wonderful condition, brown where that one is blue, and it's tow car was a red Karmann Ghia convertible. I wanted to follow him and shake his hand.

My Brother-in-law’s brother is the king of auction/bailif scores.. Every time I see him he has another low mileage rav4, golf, or 4runner that he’s picked up for pocket change.
Then he arrived at the family bbq in this; a super clean 1992 Pace Arrow;
He paid $1500, camped all summer, then sold it for $6000 after the season was over.. It was both terrifying and inspiring at the same time.

That is beautiful. A friend of mine used to have a shorter single rear axle version. I really want an Airstream trailer, but I can’t affords it.

Nice, something less vast would probably be more to my liking in the real world. Same here, definitely on my list of things I would buy if I made real money

Yeah, the smaller ones are significantly easier to manuver. He used to joke that it took so long to refuel, that you could easily start the pump, go inside and take a shower, and be dried off and dressed before the pump clicked off.
